6 hours
from $399 per person
Embark on the ultimate half-day Cairns adventure! Dive into vibrant reef waters, then soar above it all on a breathtaking scenic flight for the perfect reef-from-sea-and-sky experience!
Reef Adventures and Daintree Air have teamed up to create the ultimate Great Barrier Reef experience — an unforgettable blend of high-speed reef action and breathtaking aerial views. This half-day adventure gives you the freedom to choose your style: Snorkel/Fly or Fly/Snorkel, with two departures daily. Early risers can jump on the 8:00am Snorkel/Fly. Reef Adventures launches you across the Coral Sea aboard one of our custom high-powered vessels — capped at just 27 guests for maximum thrills and comfort. Dive into the vibrant underwater worlds of Upolu Reef or Breaking Patches, exploring colourful coral gardens and tropical marine life. Then, the adventure climbs skyward. Daintree Air will whisk you away on a 40-minute scenic flight, giving you a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the very reef you just explored, plus Green Island and Michaelmas Cay — all glowing in dazzling shades of turquoise and emerald. Prefer to start with the sky? The 11:00am Fly/Snorkel begins with your breathtaking aerial journey before returning to Cairns to board Reef Adventures’ fast vessel for your reef exploration. With intimate group sizes — just 8 guests per flight and 27 per vessel — this tour delivers the best of both worlds: the exhilaration of a fast-paced reef safari and the awe of seeing the Great Barrier Reef from above. Transfers between Reef Adventures’ check-in location (Pier Shopping Centre) and General Aviation are included. Inclusions • Half-day Great Barrier Reef experience (Upolu Reef or Breaking Patches) • Snacks served onboard • Snorkelling equipment • Flotation devices • Safety briefing
