GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival

Our Stories, Our People, Real Food, Truly Local

Forget the world for a moment and enjoy the food and friendliness of Mary Valley Country. The locals not only know how to grow and create food, they know how to have a good time. May is the month to exchange farming for feasting. To enjoy great food, great company and hear the stories of the people who bring our taste buds to life.

Along with the lunches and dinners, there’s art, music & film. There’s walks & talks, flowers & fishing, master classes & picnics, plus a guided or a self-guided trail leading you to some of the regions favourite organic and regenerative farmers.

With celebrity chef Matt Golinski heading up the kitchens, there’ll be food of all kinds – eggs & bacon for breakfast, scones, cake and coffee, campfires alight for supper – even some fancy fare.

There are free events too – Cheers & Ginger Beers, and the fabulous Festival Day hosted by MC Sunshine Coast Foodie, presenting cooking demonstrations, cooking classes, competitions, and food talks. The day also includes the BIG Mary Valley picnic. BYO or pre purchase a hamper, pull up a blanket and enjoy a performance form Claire in the Air and her preforming pets.

And for those that don’t know, Mary Valley Country is only 45 minutes from Noosa, a few minutes off the Bruce Highway and miles away from care. There’s plenty of places & spaces to park up your camper or caravan, and truly settle in.

The Mary Valley community can’t wait to welcome you. And we have a feeling you’ll be back… just like Oliver… wanting more!
