Get ready for three action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled days of heart-stopping rodeo at Buchanan Park in Mount Isa! This is where Australia’s toughest cowgirls and cowboys battle it out in the iconic red dirt arena for some of the most coveted buckles in rodeo — and the richest prize pool in the Southern Hemisphere.

Gates open from 7 AM daily

Experience non-stop world-class rodeo action with electrifying events like bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, roping and more — showcasing grit, skill and true Aussie outback spirit.

When the sun sets, the party kicks off! Live music and entertainment follow the rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights by the Barnyard Band, turning the arena into the place to be under outback skies.

Then it’s Championship Sunday, featuring the Indigenous Rodeo Championships and the thrilling Open Finals where our 2026 champions will be crowned.

Isa Rodeo 2026 is one not to miss — feel the dust fly and be part of the legend!
