Departing from Marina Mirage aboard the luxurious Kokomo vessel, this immersive cultural cruise combines the breathtaking beauty of the Gold Coast Broadwater with the rich heritage of Australia’s Aboriginal people. Your journey begins with an Acknowledgement of Country and an introduction to the Yugambeh language-speaking people. As you cruise, you will discover ancient customs, significant sites, and the profound connection Aboriginal people have with the land, sea, and native flora and fauna. A stop at Wavebreak Island offers a Yarning Circle, where guests can engage in meaningful discussions with an Aboriginal guide and ask questions. Along the route, experience the cultural significance of the Broadwater, including Moondarewa (now known as The Spit), a site where Aboriginal communities have thrived for thousands of years.
