Savoury Peach, Halloumi & Prosciutto Camp Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 block halloumi, cut into chunks
  • 2 ripe peaches or nectarines, thick wedges
  • Prosciutto slices, torn in half
  • Olive oil
  • Cracked pepper
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Lemon wedges or balsamic glaze (optional drizzle)

    Method

    How to do it (campfire / BBQ / hot plate)

    1. Assemble skewers: Thread peach → halloumi → prosciutto (folded) → repeat.
    2. Oil lightly & pepper: Brush with olive oil, crack pepper over the top.
    3. Cook: Grill on BBQ or camp plate, turning until halloumi is golden and peaches are caramelised.
    4. Finish: Squeeze lemon over or drizzle balsamic glaze.
    Recipe Notes

    Eat it with:

    • Flatbreads or crusty rolls
    • A bagged rocket or spinach salad
    • Or straight off the skewer by the fire (best way)
